What are RSS feed and how do they work?
RSS feeds allow you to receive regular updates on when we have added new content to SpunOut.ie. You can receive snippets of all the latest articles, videos and pics from SpunOut.ie without even having to visit the website.

RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication'. Basically they are web pages designed for computers, not people.

So what’s involved?

OK you need something called a news reader. This is a piece of software that checks the RSS feeds and allows you to read any new articles that have been posted on the website. There are many different news reader versions, some of which you can access using a browser, and some of which are downloadable programs.

Most browsers, like Firefox, Internet Explorer 7, Opera and Safari, automatically check for feeds for you when you visit a website, and display an icon when they find one. This can make subscribing to and reading feeds much easier.

Simply add any of the following feeds to your RSS Reader…

Spunout.ie – Mag

Spunout.ie – Health & Life

Spunout.ie – Action
