SpunOut.ie aims to be accessible to everyone.
SpunOut.ie complies in its majority with all priority 1, 2, 3 guidelines from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
The process of making the website accessible in its entirety is ongoing.
We have provided a number of features that allow users with disabilities easier site navigatation:
Alongside producing the website to the highest W3C standards, separating content from design (XHTML); we have also included a number of keyboard shortcuts (Access Keys).
These are as follows:

- X = Go to the Search Page

- 5 = Forum
- 6 = Get Involved
To use these Access Keys check your browser's help information.
- For Internet Explorer on a PC press ALT + the relevant Access Key, Release and press Enter.
- For Firefox on a PC press SHIFT + ALT + the relevant Access Key.
This website is designed for maximum accessibility.
Frames are not used, tables are only used for tabulating data and images are always described in alt text.
Standards Compliance
This website is WebXact AAA approved, complying with all priority 1, 2 and 3 guidelines of the W3 Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
The site validates as XHTML 1.0 Strict.
NB: The XHTML, CSS and AAA compliance validations on SpunOut.ie were validated on 22nd of August 2007. Due to the extent of our content and the website being dynamic, we cannot guarantee validation of all pages at all times, however, we strive to ensure all content is produced in an accessible format.
