SpunOut.ie appeal for funds
BLOG: Empowering young people has never been so important!
SpunOut.ie is reaching 50,000 unique users per month and providing much needed info, support & opportunities to young people in Ireland. However, our One Foundation funding support has recently ended whilst other state funding has been cut.
In order to survive and succeed in empowering the youth of Ireland we need your help.

Over the last few years SpunOut.ie has grown from strength to strength. We have reached millions of people online and offline through our work in schools, colleges and the community.
With rising levels of youth unemployment, suicide and emigration, empowering young people has never been more important. SpunOut.ie exists to serve this need and build a vital platform for young people to receive the support, information and opportunities they need and deserve.
Our online services and an expanding civic engagement programme (training, mini grants, campaigns and summits) are at the cutting edge of providing youth-led and relevant supports.
Over the years this work has been recognised with numerous awards, endorsements from throughout the youth, health and community sector, and recognition from the political and media sectors. Most importantly we reach young people, engage with them and have their support and trust.
The recent relocation of our 7 strong full-time team to the heart of Dublin’s Temple Bar area is part of an ambitious development plan that will see SpunOut.ie rise to the enormous challenges of our age.
Despite our momentum and success, funding remains a huge issue for our non profit organisation. In the past we have relied on project grants, HSE support, community support and philanthrophic funding. All of these sources are diminishing and our One Foundation funding cycle is now complete whilst we have experienced over 20% cuts from the HSE.
Our survival and success depends on the goodwill and support of people from all walks of life.
We are appealing for like-minded people, foundations and companies to consider investing in young people by investing in SpunOut.ie.
