We're back at work after a brilliant Easter break and news that we have been short-listed for a Net Visionary Award has been received with 'yahoos' and 'woohoos' all around.

The Net Visionary Awards are run by the Irish Internet Association and recognise the leading websites and web innovations in Ireland.

SpunOut.ie is short-listed in the 'Social Contribution' category for our work in creating a youth-led online movement for personal and social change. We are up against some top class competition so please help us out by voting for SpunOut.ie now.

As always there is no time for wallowing in our own glory here at HQ so it's back to work as we plan a major development programme for SpunOut.ie over the next year.

We are looking forward to the exciting changes ahead and the prospect of a Net Visionary Award would be a brilliant bow to our belt so fingers crossed for the awards, which take place on Thursday May 24th.
