SpunOut.ie Youth Editor on Den TV!
Tracey talks about SpunOut.ie and the importance of volunteer work.
SpunOut.ie Youth Editor and Contributor Tracey McGrory recently won the Barnardos 'Helping Hands' - Young Volunteer of the Year Award!
Tracey, 18, is a leaving cert student at Colaiste Cholmcille, Ballyshannon and was nominated for the Helping Hands award by the staff at SpunOut.ie for 'an outstanding contribution to the SpunOut.ie National Youth Website and for all her work in the community.'

The award was presented by RTE's George Hook at a ceremony in Dublin on December 5th. Tracey was also presented with a laptop computer by Aidan Bailey from Softech. She was then whisked away by taxi to be interviewed for RTE Den TV youth news. She was later interviewed on the Ryan Tubridy radio show on RTE Radio 1 and featured in the Irish Examiner amongst other newspapers.
Tracey has been volunteering since she was 10 years old and is currently involved with SpunOut.ie as a Youth Editor and Contributor, with St. Vincent De Paul, with the Ballintra Laghey Cross Community Youth Project and in teaching Badminton to young people in her area.
A massive WELL DONE TO YA TRACEY!!!!! Go girl!!!
